Internet Archive - nonprofit digital library who have been archiving the internet for decades. my digital preservation heroes. creators of the Wayback Machine. i will fight you if you say they're not a "real library."

GioCities - blogs by Gio. i don't really know who Gio is, but i like a lot of his ideas.

Cameron's World - one of the first sites i ever found, pre-Neocities, that celebrated the retro web. this site makes me really happy, i can scroll happily for a long time.

Lemonparty.org - one of my favorite sites of all time!!

Imaginal Disk World Map - this is from the website of a pop duo i like, Magdalena Bay. they lean heavily into that retro web aesthetic & on the site where they're promoting their new album, there's this really cool "map" area where u can explore some neat lil scenes.

Astralily - an interactive web fiction, described by the author as a "multiverse traveling lesbian magical girls story." i'm not too far into it but i love the way it's designed!

Crystal Warrior Kesha - twine game by Porpentine that has brought me hope over the years

The Bitter Goblin Cave - very neat & nostalgic site filled w/ awesome goblinz, 90s-tastic artwork & many photos the creator's collection of all kinds of delightfully weird toys & trinkets... a really special site, this reminds me so much of the kinds of sites i used to go on all the time as a kid

Andalite Truth - a webpage dedicated to sharing the knowledge that the commonly-accepted depiction of Andalites from the Animorphs series is INACCURATE TO THE SOURCE MATERIAL. features many sketches of how Andalites actually look from expert sources. real web 1.0 vibes, def recommended.
